Pectolite Photography brings personality to school portrait images.
School pictures from Pectolite Photography are free of props, busy backgrounds, awkward poses and fake smiles. My goal for families is to keep the focus on their child and their child's individual personality. I provide fun verbal prompts to encourage each child's natural expression. However, I always respect the temperament of the child. I understand that not every child is comfortable in front of a camera. My style is modern, minimal and most of all rewarding. I don't use flash, so sensitive hearts are able to feel more comfortable in front of my camera.

I work quickly but I am still able to create a true connection with each student. Because of my years of experience working with thousands of children, this only takes a minute or two per child. Even though I move quickly to keep children comfortable and classes on schedule, I provide families with images that really capture the spirit of their child. My school portraits have a feeling of being authentic with genuine emotions.
What Services Do You Offer?
Services
I provide a quality, professional experience for your school and your families. Other than picture day, the entire process is done completely online. For the schools, I provide:
- Personalized school info page - one stop for families to get all the information that they need about school portrait day
- Electronic Flyer -I provide the flyer for you to email to parents
- Online viewing and ordering gallery - galleries are secure and individual student albums can be password protected for privacy
I handle all questions from parents and families regarding online galleries, the ordering process, products offered, and delivery options. I enjoy working with school families and strive to make the process as simple as possible for them with detailed instructions and informational videos.
Other Considerations
IS THERE A COST TO THE SCHOOL FOR YOUR SERVICES? There is no cost to the school for my services. I earn my income through sales to the families.
ARE YOUR SCHOOL PORTRAITS EXPENSIVE? Even though my school portrait service is high end, my prices are not. I have competitive rates with nothing due up front. Parents are not forced to buy sight unseen! They order the images they love and have chosen for themselves.
HOW MANY STUDENTS CAN YOU ACCOMMODATE? I service any size schools or daycares, including homeschool groups, with 50 or more students.
WHAT AGES DOES THIS WORK FOR BEST? I have worked with children as young as 4 weeks up to 18 years old. Because school portraits are about capturing genuine portraits of each child, there is not an age group that is too young or too old for this one-of-a-kind portrait style. This style of photography is great for local colleges and their students, as well.

You pick the time of year that works best for your school and together we will collaborate to schedule a successful, rewarding school portrait day that your staff and families will love. DO YOU PROVIDE A PORTION OF YOUR SALES TO THE SCHOOL? I do not make a financial donation to my schools. I have other ways in which I benefit my schools and the families that they serve.

- I provide an easy to understand contract that clearly states all the unique deliverables for your school portrait day
- I provide all equipment for photo day; all I need is a room with a good window or an open shade location outdoors.
- I provide faculty portraits, if needed
- I provide affordable portrait pricing with a variety of digital, print, canvas and school ID options
- I provide password protected photo gallery with individual student albums
- Upon request, I provide the school with full-resolution images for yearbooks
